Flint Community Schools provides a streamlined process for requesting student records, including transcripts, student profiles, and immunization records. This service ensures that current and former scholars and their families can easily access essential educational and health documentation. The process for each type of record is as follows:
Student Transcripts
Scholars or alums can request their academic transcripts, which detail their academic performance, courses taken, and grades received. This is particularly useful for college applications, job applications, or transferring to another educational institution.
Student Profile
A comprehensive scholar profile can be asked for, including a summary of the student's academic and extracurricular achievements and any notable milestones or awards received during their time at Flint Community Schools.
Immunization Records
Immunization records are available for scholars, detailing their vaccination history. This is crucial for health and safety compliance, especially when enrolling in a new school or for certain employment sectors.
Flint Community Schools ensures the confidentiality and security of all student records, complying with relevant privacy laws and regulations. Requests for these records can be made through a designated online portal, by mail, or in person at the school district office, depending on the convenience of the requester. The school district aims to process these requests promptly and efficiently, recognizing the importance of these documents for the ongoing educational and professional journeys of its scholars
